3 Daily Ways to Refocus Your Mindset
Written by Kimberly Olson
There are tons of ways to keep your mindset sharp and get your priorities in order. I’ll teach you three of the tricks that I use daily to maintain my dream life and keep my mind recharged and refreshed. We all struggle with day-to-day insecurities, so let’s find a way to overcome our shortfalls and focus on manifesting the life we want.
Think It
The first strategy that helps me improve my mindset is journaling every single day. Specifically, I focus on affirmations and complete a “positive brain dump.” I write down attributes of myself and discover what isn’t serving me well in my life. I define limiting beliefs and write down that I am amazing at that certain task. It can be so beneficial to speak what you want into existence and watch it come to life. I write down my daily intentions. I focus on specific short-term tasks for things that I hoped to achieve on that given day. Doing this will help you recognize accomplishments much sooner and focus on the path that will get you to success.
See It
Next, I create something called a vision movie. There are plenty of vision apps and affirmation apps that help with daily goals, but I chose to create my own vision movie instead! By reprogramming our mind with a visual medium, we are focusing on our subconscious mind and how to train parts of our brain that we don’t necessarily have access to.
If we connect with the deeper parts of our brain, we can quickly see the transformation of our manifestations coming to life. I use iMovie to include 50-60 images. Some are of myself on stage or in the business world, doing what I love, team celebrations, books, and desired items like a dream house or dream car, etc. I include pictures where I felt my best and shared things that I wanted to manifest.
Believe It
Finally, I record everything in present tense. I use the ThinkUp app every day to record affirmations with music and put it on repeat. I listen to myself saying all of the things I am currently grateful and blessed to have. The brain recognizes your own voice and resonates with powerful message of success. The subconscious mind will allow your manifestations to come to fruition.
With joyful expectations of my everyday life, I expect good things to happen. When I think of my future, I think of ways I am going to create my life and see my goals come true.
Instead of just hoping things will happen, I get specific and intentional with reminding myself of goals I have set.
